Welcome to the publications page of the National Federation website. On this page, you’ll find vital, helpful fact sheets, workbooks and newsletters that the National Federation has developed and published either independently or in partnership with another organization. Other non-Federation publications are important documents that have been instrumental to the field. If you have any questions or can’t find what you’re looking for, give us a call at 240-403-1901 and we may be able to assist you.
Definition of Family-Driven
Probably one of the most important documents in our publications library is our definition of family-driven. Take a look at the full definition by clicking on the link below.
Indicators of Family Involvement
This document was created as a part of the Assessing the Impact of Family Involvement (AFI) workgroup in which three teams of SOC communities came together to determine what indicators are needed for a family run organization in determining if they have family involvement. This is a great resource for anyone thinking about family involvement. Although this is only a working draft, it can be adapted and expanded on by anyone interested.

Claiming Children is our old newsletter that was published from the mid 90′s until the early 2000s. Much like the current ReClaiming Children newsletter, these issues focused in on issues that were important to families and youth and gave them the necessary tools and support to accomplish great feats in children’s mental health.
