The National Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health is seeking nominations for our first Jane Adams Peer Support Award. Eligible candidates must be nationally certified. Jane Adams has been a pioneer in the field of family peer support. She is a national expert with years of experience in the provision of exemplary support to families, in the training of parent peers, and in researching the outcomes of family peer support. This award is being presented in her honor to acknowledge her many accomplishments and contributions to this body of work.
As the field of nationally certified PSPs continues to grow, we want to begin to recognize the many accomplishments of this highly trained workforce. As this is our inaugural award, we are seeking nominations that demonstrate overall excellence in the provision of support to families who are parenting children and youth experiencing behavioral health challenges.
We are seeking outstanding, nationally certified Parent Support Providers who demonstrate extraordinary skills and dedication in the provision of support to the families of children and youth experiencing behavioral health challenges.
This award will be announced at our Annual Conference in Phoenix and the successful candidate will receive national recognition for their work and dedication.
If you are a nationally certified PSP, we invite you to self-nominate for this award.
Please submit all nominations by October 26!
